About CarbuMap
CarbuMap is a free, account-free interactive map that shows real-time fuel prices and stations in shortage (partial or total) in France and Spain. Compare prices by city, department, or region, plan a route through the cheapest stations, and pin your usual stations to your favourites.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the fuel price data come from?
The French data come from prix-carburants.gouv.fr, the official government database fed by the stations themselves. The Spanish data come from the Spanish Ministry of Industry (sedeaplicaciones.minetur.gob.es). For Belgium, the displayed prices are the official maximum prices capped by the SPF Economy (FOD Economie); real pump prices may be slightly lower or equal.
How often are the prices updated?
The data are reloaded on every visit from the official sources, which are updated continuously as stations submit new declarations. The last update time is shown in the map header.
How can I tell if there is a fuel shortage in my city?
Search for your city in the search bar or use geolocation. Green stations are supplied, orange stations are in partial shortage (at least one fuel missing), and red stations are in total shortage. The status bar at the top of the map shows the national trend.
How do I find the cheapest station on my route?
Open the “Route” panel, enter a departure and destination: CarbuMap calculates the route and highlights the cheapest stations for your fuel along the way.
Can I compare prices between cities or regions?
Yes: the “Compare prices” button opens a ranking of minimum, average, and maximum prices by city, department, or region, filterable by country (France, Spain) and exportable as CSV.
Is CarbuMap free? Are my data collected?
CarbuMap is completely free, with no account or registration. Your preferences (fuel, favourites, theme) are stored only in your browser and never leave your device.
